Rusland holds a Spring Show every March/April, at the Rusland Reading Rooms, organised by the Reading Room Committee. Entries are open to anyone, and the hall and marquee is always a riot of colour with spring bulbs, pasche eggs, decorated cakes, photographs, paintings, poems, with children’s entries adorning the walls. Tea and delicious cakes are on sale from the kitchen. The Show helps to raise important funds for the upkeep of the Rusland Reading Room (village hall).
